Whether you need a little help with a troublesome project or
just want to fill out Firework's somewhat sparse Xtras menu with
some free plug-ins, there are quite a few resources available

Macromedia's Fireworks home base contains updates, add-ons, tips,
techniques, a gallery and more. This is your first stop for up-to-the-minute
news about Fireworks.

Macromedia maintains a newsgroup where you can discuss Fireworks
with other users, and occasionally bump into the author of the
Fireworks 2 Bible.

Deja.com is an archive of Usenet and other newsgroups, including
Macromedia's. You can search through previous postings to the
Fireworks Forum as easily using a Web search engine.

Although this is primarily a Dreamweaver site, Massimo has branched
out into Fireworks and even Flash. You'll find some excellent
export templates and a package of 50 great textures.

Lots of free PhotoShop-compatible image filters for Macintosh
and Windows, and more that you can purchase in the Plugin Store.
Fill out your Fireworks Xtras menu by installing these filters
into your Fireworks 2/Settings/Xtras folder.

Makers of Kai's Power Tools (KPT) and other PhotoShop-compatible
image filters for Macintosh and Windows. They also offer many
interesting 3D design tools. KPT 5 is featured in the Fireworks
2 Bible.

Alien Skin's Eye Candy and Xenofex PhotoShop-compatible image
filters offer a wide range of very useful effects. Available for
Macintosh and Windows.

Sign up with ArtToday and for $30 a year you have access to the
tons of clipart, fonts and stock photography in their online archive.
The vector clipart is a great way to start off a Fireworks project.
A free membership option gives you access to 40 000 Web graphics.

Pick a tag and receive detailed information about the tag and
its attributes, as well as which browsers support the tag. There
are plenty of mirror sites ... pick the one closest to you for
the quickest response next time you visit.
