I have a long-standing fascination with the Web, mostly centering around Dreamweaver, the world's leading Web authoring tool, now developed by Adobe. I've written a good number of books and articles about Dreamweaver and related technologies; my most recent is the Dreamweaver CS3 Bible, published by Wiley.

A good part of my interest in Dreamweaver stems from its underlying extensibility layer. I've created a number of extensions myself and am currently Vice-President of Marketing for WebAssist, the leader provider of extensions for Adobe Dreamweaver. Building a PHP Event Reg System

I've got a new article in the Adobe Developer Connection: Creating an event registration application in PHP. This is actually the first of two articles and covers setting up the public facing portion of such a system; part 2, describes the administrative site set-up. I've a third article on working with PHP in Dreamweaver as well which details how to set up newsletter subscribe and unsubscribe that should be along in the next month or so.
